suspect it’s inconceivable to Trump & Co that the single most valuable card in the deck is “Trust”.
the miscalculation in Trumps strategy is that all the other cards - finance, tech, trade, military etc. replace the need for trust. they don’t. they depend upon it.
what happens when Trump & Co discover that no matter how many times the dealer shuffles the deck and deals new hands, Zelensky has the one card Trump can never hold.
will Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, pension funds, manufacturers, etc. de-risk and de-couple from the US?
will all but the least competent/re-employable acolytes in team Trump will also de-risk, de-couple and ultimately de-rail Trumps administration.
